What We Believe
A place for everyone.
Know Jesus and make Jesus known.
To live by faith, to be known by love and to be a voice of hope.
To see people saved, healed, set free, and empowered to live in victory.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons…
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in Holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that he hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We further believe His power and gifts are available to believers today.
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own efforts.
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the lost world.
We believe it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of the Holy Communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.
We believe in the blessing of Abraham. That Blessing is that part of the power of God that brings ABUNDANT LIFE (John 10:10) Abundant life brings Salvation, Healing, and Prosperity.
