It was an afternoon filled with good food, fun games, and some of the best people you would ever want to meet. It was not only a day for church attendees, but their family and friends as well.
The afternoon started off after the service with a hot dog and hamburger barbecue meal. Then the games began. The park was overrun with foot-races, potato sack races, bola golf, botchie ball and remote controlled airplanes. Everyone had a blast, and the weather was perfect.
Pastor David Meir said' "This is just a preview for the big event two weeks from now!"
On June 25, in Sifton Park in Saskatoon, Lighthouse Victory Church will ·be hosting another event, even bigger than the last. There will of course be food and fellowship, but there will also be music, a garage sale, and prizes in competitions.
